Janet Martini studied ceramics at SDSU (Jack Hopkins, George Geyer), UCSD extension (Rhoda Lopez, Clark Rost), and has been enriched by numerous workshops. She enjoys making both functional and sculptural works in mid-to high-fire stoneware. Her focus is on form and texture. She is inspired by ceramic traditions of Asia, Europe and the Americas.
