San Diego Potters' Guild

The San Diego Potters Guild has held a number of events over the years to support The Monarch School. The most recent was a Teapot show. A portion of all proceeds from that show were donated to the monarch school and many potters donated 100% of the proceeds from the sale of other pieces.

"The mission of the Monarch School is to educate students impacted by homelessness and to help them develop hope for a future with the necessary skills and experiences for personal success."

"According to the San Diego County Office of Education, there are 13,204 homeless students in San Diego County, as defined by the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act. About 40 percent of our county's homeless population is made up of families. Three out of four children in those families are elementary school age."

"There are many opportunities at Monarch School for volunteers to make a difference. If you are ready to help some of San Diego's most resilient kids, they're waiting to meet you." Click here to learn more about what you can do.
