Every two months the central display in the gallery showcases work from our members on a specific theme. Intentional Lines is our theme for September 15 to November 2. Potters explore lines in their work, be they straight, curved, narrow, wide, words, drawings, carved, embossed, or glazed. Featured work by Li Chen. |
Saturday & Sunday, November 14-15 |
Each year on the second full weekend in June and the second full weekend in November the San Diego Potters' Guild holds a semiannual sale that fills up the entire courtyard of the Spanish Village. Each potter brings in a load of new work from their home studios and displays it in the courtyard. The semiannual sales run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. It is a unique opportunity to meet to the guild members and ask them questions about their work. Featured works (clockwise from top left) by David Cuzick, Harumi Sako, and Frederick de la Cruz. |
