| Twice a year—on the second full weekend in June and again in November—the San Diego Potters’ Guild transforms the entire Spanish Village patio into a vibrant open‑air gallery. More than forty potters roll in fresh work from their home studios, filling the space with color, texture, and the energy of a community that lives and breathes clay. The Spring Show runs from 10am to 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday, offering visitors the chance to wander from table to table, discover brand‑new pieces, and meet the artists who made them. It’s one of the rare moments when you can talk directly with Guild members about their techniques, inspirations, and firing adventures—an experience as unique as the work on display. Featured work by Lynn Zimmer and Nancy Barbour. This year, our Spring show is part of Handwork 2026, Craft in America's nationwide semiquincentennial collaboration showcasing the importance of the handmade and celebrating the diversity of craft that defines America. |
