Linda began working with clay at UCSB a very long time ago, and continued at UCSD with Rhoda Lopez. She has her own studio, although finding time to create projects has been a problem as she continues to substitute teach grades K - 6. Linda enjoys the peace found in working with clay and seeing a lump of clay turn into a finished object. She sees the same thing with a piece of fabric that turns into a folk art doll. Linda hopes through her work in ceramics to bring some humor into a person’s life, a smile to their face and perhaps some lasting enjoyment.
